If you require specialist gum treatment, dental implants or a routine hygiene visit, we can help. We always aim to offer the least invasive approach to address your concerns.
We prefer to use proven reliable techniques for a predictable outcome.
Our team regularly attends training courses and conferences to improve the care that we provide.
Most importantly, we comply with current international safety standards and all local regulations issued by Dubai Health Authority.

KEY DIFFERENCES
The Perio Clinic is an independent periodontist in Dubai. We are different from other healthcare organisations. This allows us to offer an impartial expert assessment of your oral health.
If you have been referred by another dentist, we can work closely with them to deliver your care.
However, you don't need a referral to visit a dental specialist or hygienist. We are always happy to offer a second opinion on your oral health.
The Perio Clinic is completely independent from any other healthcare provider.
If you require treatment outside of our area of expertise, we can arrange referral to an appropriate specialist, either in Dubai or elsewhere.
OUR PERIODONTIST
Dr. Geoffrey Sharpe was born and raised in the north of England. He graduated from Newcastle University School of Dental Sciences with distinction in Restorative Dentistry.
He subsequently worked in the NHS as a Senior House Officer at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Manchester Royal Infirmary, gaining experience in Restorative Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery before proceeding to full time general practice.
Dr. Sharpe later returned to Newcastle University for specialist training in periodontics. He graduated with a clinical Masters degree and achieved Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Periodontics) at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was invited to Dubai in 2010 and became the periodontist at a renowned speciality clinic prior to creating The Perio Clinic.
Dr. Sharpe lives in Jumeira with his family. In their free time, they enjoy early mornings at the beach, camping in the desert and exploring travel opportunities from Dubai.
OUR HYGIENIST
Beverley Murray moved to Dubai in 2022. She has extensive experience of providing dental hygiene and therapy in a variety of different settings throughout the UK.
Bev is originally from Yorkshire and qualified as a dental hygienist in 2015. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham. Most recently, she worked in the South East of England at an NHS Special Care clinic treating patients with additional needs, complex medical problems and those who suffer anxiety about receiving dental treatment.
Bev has completed additional training in treating nervous patients and providing tooth whitening. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga and scuba diving.
LOCATION
The Perio Clinic is located in a purpose-built clinical building in Dubai Healthcare City. The clinic is close to several large internationally recognised hospitals and clinics.
We are easily accessible by road or public transport with many nearby parking options.
